Yamaha WaveRunners owned the water at the 2025 IJSBA World Finals, stacking up 25 podium finishes over a week of racing in Lake Havasu City. The tally: nine World Championships, eight second-place medals, and eight third-place finishes.

It was a statement meet for Yamaha. Against the sport’s toughest international field, the brand’s mix of speed, consistency, and toughness carried riders through some of the most unpredictable conditions of the 2025 racing season.

    Stock Class Showdown

The spotlight once again fell on the Pro Runabout Stock class, the premier division of the sport — and it didn’t disappoint. Hard racing, missed buoys, penalties, and protests were all part of the drama. Monster Energy / Farthing Racing kept Yamaha at the sharp end despite the chaos, with three Yamaha machines finishing inside the Top 5.

Brian Baldwin powered his Yamaha to a hard-fought second overall, while Brandon Warner delivered a strong fourth-place finish. Just behind him, Noah Skips secured fifth, completing a trio of Yamaha riders who proved their speed and determination against the sport’s fiercest competition.

    A Week of Momentum

Beyond the headliners, Yamaha riders were everywhere — from youth divisions to women’s finals to Pro Am competition. In total, Yamaha-mounted racers climbed the podium 25 times, underscoring the depth of talent and the versatility of the brand’s SuperJet, GP and FX race machines.

“This year’s World Finals were a showcase of Yamaha’s race-bred performance and the never-quit spirit of our riders,” said Bryce Parker, Yamaha WaveRunner Racing Manager. “Yamaha WaveRunnerscontinue to prove themselves as the ultimate racing platforms, giving our athletes the edge they need to perform at the highest level. We want to thank all the racers, race teams, and families whose dedication and passion keep this sport thriving.”

Yamaha leaves Lake Havasu not just with hardware, but with momentum — and the kind of dominance that signals the team isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
