Human Rights Policy and Supply Chain Management

As a Global leader in manufacturing, Yamaha Motor Group is committed to supporting human rights being held to the highest standard in our supply chain.  To promote such principle in respecting human rights, and more broadly to promote sustainable growth of our society, Yamaha Motor Group issued relevant rules and policies including “Yamaha Motor Group Sustainability Basic Policy”, “Yamaha Motor Group Human Rights Policy” and “Sustainability Guideline for Suppliers” that are available at: https://global.yamaha-motor.com/ir/library/esg/human-rights/

As a company of Yamaha Motor Group, Yamaha Motor Corporation USA and other group companies in the United States conduct business under these rules and policies that will not tolerate human trafficking, unlawful child labor or forced labor of any kind and expect their business partners to adhere to similar principles.  In the event any supplier, manufacturing facility or dealer/distributor in our supply chain is found to be engaged in human trafficking or using forced labor or unlawful child labor, immediate action is expected to be taken to remove the human rights abuse or Yamaha Motor Corporation USA and other group companies will immediately take actions deemed adequate and necessary, which may include termination of business with supplier, manufacturing facility or dealer/distributor and report to the appropriate authorities.
