Shipping, delivery & holiday schedule

Order processing & delays

Generally, orders placed by 1:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, will be processed the same day. Additional processing time may be necessary for some orders.

Further delays in processing can be caused by incorrectly entered payment information, billing or shipping address, etc.

Shipping Method

We currently only allow for UPS ground shipping which arrives in 5 to 7 business days, in order to provide a consistent experience to our customers. Please contact your local Yamaha dealer for time-sensitive purchases.

Ground shipping is provided by UPS. Shipments do not occur on Saturdays, Sundays or on U.S. holidays. Some items may also include a shipping surcharge, which varies based on weight and dimension. Any applicable shipping surcharges are noted on the product pages and during the checkout process. Larger items ship LTL and may require additional customer action to schedule delivery.

Shipping surcharges

Shipping surcharges may be applicable to over sized items. These surcharges are applicable for items sold online from ShopYamaha.com. Pricing from your local Yamaha dealer may vary.

Shipment notifications

Once your order ships we'll send you an email, which will include a tracking number that allows you to track your package via UPS. Please note that items may ship separately and arrive in more than one package. You will receive a separate email with this tracking information when it ships.

Shipments to P.O. Boxes, APO, FPO, DPO

We apologize for the inconvenience but we currently do not ship orders to addresses with P.O. Boxes, APO, FPO, and DPO.

Missing package

If you can't find a delivered package:
  • Verify your shipping address
  • Search your front door, garage door, or other delivery location for your package
  • Check if a neighbor, family member, or roommate accepted the delivery
  • Search for a notice of attempted delivery

If you're unable to find your package, please contact us.

Holiday schedule

Shipments do not occur on the following observed holidays. Customer support responses to inquiries may also be delayed to the next business day after a holiday.

Holiday cut-off date. We recommend orders to be placed on/or before Friday, Dec. 6,  for delivery before Monday, Dec. 23.
