Yamaha WaveRunners Dominate IJSBA World Finals with 14 Titles, Eyes Now on P1 AquaX Pro Enduro Championship

The 2024 IJSBA World Finals saw Yamaha WaveRunner racers assert their dominance, taking 14 championship titles and 38 podium finishes. Yamaha’s race machines once again proved their mettle on the competitive stage, solidifying their place at the top of personal watercraft racing. Leading the charge in the premier Pro Runabout Stock class, Yamaha’s Noah Skipps, riding a Monster Energy Farthing Racing Yamaha GP SVHO WaveRunner, delivered an intense performance, finishing second after a thrilling battle for first. Fellow Yamaha racer Tim Miller followed with a third-place finish, showing speed and consistency after a standout Saturday. These finishes highlight the continued success of Yamaha’s GP SVHO and FX SVHO models, which have been leading the way in the P1 AquaX Pro Enduro US Tour. Yamaha’s success extended across multiple classes, with the Yamaha EXR sweeping the podium in Pro Runabout 1100 Stock, Women Runabout 1100 Stock, and Amateur Runabout 1100 Limited, securing three world titles and reaffirming the EXR as a top choice for competitive racers.

In the Sport Spec class, Yamaha’s WaveBlaster 1 stole the show, with Revin Harris taking the world title and Talan Farthing of Farthing Racing close behind in second place. The WaveBlaster, a longtime favorite in the sport, once again delivered when it counted. Yamaha’s SuperJet also had a standout performance, capturing 25 podium finishes and eight world titles across several divisions. The SuperJet’s combination of agility and power make it the go-to craft for many racers, further cementing its place in the sport’s history. Yamaha WaveRunner Racing manager Bryce Parker expressed his pride in the team’s achievements: “To take home 14 world titles is a testament to the skill of our racers and the strength of our machines. From the GP SVHO to the SuperJet, Yamaha continues to set the standard in personal watercraft racing.”

With the World Finals in the books, Yamaha now turns its attention to the P1 AquaX Pro Enduro Championship, where their racers are leading in both U.S. and world points standings as they head into the final races of the season.
