Yamaha-Specific Info:
What do you think of your race sled?
I think the Yamaha is awesome! It has tons of power and a very smooth power band.
Why did you choose to ride a Yamaha this season?
Yamaha is a great company to ride for. Every one is very nice and helpful with anything I have had questions on.
What do you think are the sled’s strengths?
The smooth power is the most obvious strength for me. It pulls nicely throughout the power band making the sled much easier to control.
What are your goals for the season?
I want to get comfortable with the sled, finish each race, and win.
Why are you a good fit for your Yamaha snowmobile?
I love how the 4-stroke power is so smooth on dirt bikes and I think that will transition well into snowmobiles. I just think I’m more comfortable with the Yamaha 4-stroke rather than a 2 stroke.
Describe the difference between a 2-stroke and a 4-stroke race sled:
Due to the design of a 4-stroke race sled, the engine is able to delivers more torque and a broader power band than a 2-stroke race sled can. This means smoother, more useable power which can be better managed for racing conditions.
